Anshika Singh is a graduate student from Miranda House College. She is a kathak dancer, a synthesizer player, a seasoned debater and the recipient of the Women Power India Awards 2023 in recognition of her exceptional contribution and remarkable work in the realm of social and corporate impact through service and management. She was also awarded the title of 'Second Wave Superhero' by the NewsX COVID Task Force for her service during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. With a demonstrated history of working with different youth organizations, she has contributed to the growth of these organizations in different capacities. She has served as Deputy Chairperson, Diplomatic Relations at Global Youth India (2021–22), managing the network base and collaborations with embassies, think tanks, and dignitaries at both the national and international level. As the youth representative, she has organized various events during her tenure and was also invited to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the British High Commission for the same. Under her leadership, Global Youth was able to expand its network base to 100+ cities through her first ever pro-bono foreign policy fellowship initiative which gained support from eminent personalities and think tanks internationally. She was also instrumental in establishing ties with international members from Israel for the India-Israel Youth Forum. In recognition of her consistent efforts, she was offered a partial scholarship in the Global Policy, Diplomacy, and Sustainability Fellowship, Summer Cohort 2022. Her project under Sustainable development council, named ‘Project Adhyayan,' strived to provide quality education to children with special needs and aids special schools with resources (SDG 4). She was invited to present this project at the GOPIO Youth Leadership Conference in Singapore. She hopes to continue working towards the goal of ‘Education for all’.
